They say everything is bigger in Texas - I dont know what they are referring to specifically, but I can say its true for plates of food and the family truck. This is a club sandwich like I’ve never had before. Real slabs of turkey and ham between whole wheat toast. You should see the fried chicken salad – at least 4 chickens were sacrificed.
I guess you should know we are in the process of moving from Texas to California. This was taken on our home excursion trip. I’m kind of upset that I didn’t take pics of the Deep Dish pizza in Berkley, and the split pea soup in Saratoga.
I like to eat a lot. Well, maybe just as much as the next person. I try to make conscious decisions about what is on my plate – going out of my way for something new. I regret every meal I didn’t catalog that deserved it. So, why waste anymore time? Some fancy, some simple – almost always created by someone else. I cant cook. Food is art, culture, love, amazing.
